In the 10th minute of the match RACIN DE CHAWEN got a corner. Furia Calamar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erlantz Duran ran over to the corner to take the kick. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Furia Calamar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erlantz Duran was slow to take the kick. During this time RACIN DE CHAWEN's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on RACIN DE CHAWEN's corner İdris Bayraktaroğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Hanot quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Galnares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Galnares in the 15th minute of play forced Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Daniel Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Galnares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes RACIN DE CHAWEN got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Verdeja. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Savion in the 22nd minute of play forced RACIN DE CHAWEN's goalkeeper Marco Pedriza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Conrado Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damaso Sotero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Pedriza came out and tried to block the shot, but Damaso Sotero slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. In the 34th match minute, RACIN DE CHAWEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufo Serra to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, RACIN DE CHAWEN's goalkeeper Marco Pedriza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Sadurni. With a little luck, RACIN DE CHAWEN's Marco Pedriza got control of the ball when Celedonio Sadurni tried to sneak it across the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caetano Galnares to strike the kick off in the second half. Benicio Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Marco Pedriza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furia Calamar. With an all-out effort, RACIN DE CHAWEN's Daniel Hanot threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcelino Verdeja, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Furia Calamar's Benicio Gipuzkoa suffered a sore thigh after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İdris Bayraktaroğlu during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute Marcelino Verdeja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Daniel Hanot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rufo Serra. After 84 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Diego Sadurni. RACIN DE CHAWEN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erlantz Duran in the 87th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Furia Calamar's goalie and right to Fermin Cresitobalo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Furia Calamar's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of RACIN DE CHAWEN booed when Furia Calamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Hellqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Hanot came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by RACIN DE CHAWEN's Rufo Serra. But to his dismay, Rufo Serra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Marcelino Verdeja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Furia Calamar had won after a very even match.
