Arkadiusz Smolarek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fryderyk Kanczuszewski in the 9th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Edson Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but • REGINA •'s Guillermo Ochoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Resul Erdemalp in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Ochoa saved • REGINA • from getting behind. Resul Erdemalp hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. André Cruz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guga Simão in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Ochoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillermo Ochoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Resul Erdemalp's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gilberto Gabirel could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Arkadiusz Smolarek however easily saved by the left post. Guillermo Ochoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resul Erdemalp in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Gabirel made a kick off. Edson Faria was slow to take the kick. During this time América-SC F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Edson Faria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guillermo Ochoa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Souza in the 89th minute of play forced • REGINA •'s goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Gabi Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but • REGINA •'s Guillermo Ochoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gabi Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Ochoa was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. • REGINA •'s Guillermo Ochoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Gol in the 95th minute of play. América-SC F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
