The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match FURIOZA got a corner. FURIOZA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrzej Solak in the 15th minute. After taking down the ball on FURIOZA's corner Andrzej Solak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Georgi Velinov quite easily take care of the ball. FURIOZA's Oséias Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Georgi Velinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oséias Palmeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georgi Velinov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Oséias Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. FURIOZA's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georgi Velinov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oséias Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséias Palmeira in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georgi Velinov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute Oséias Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Velinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Palmeira came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waclaw Jaroszewicz took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georgi Velinov. Georgi Velinov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doychin Karamalkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, FURIOZA's Oséias Palmeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georgi Velinov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute Dragolyub Buchkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pinki Kush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
