Fedor Ivanchuk went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fedor Ivanchuk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nusaybin GençLikSpor's Serdar Ulualp did a great save. 17 minutes into the match, Voskresensk FC's goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gökalp Rakim. In the 25th minute, Fedor Ivanchuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Akinfeev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökalp Rakim in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Rick McEachan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Serdar Ulualp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Ivanchuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Serdar Ulualp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gleb Sorokin in the 34th minute of the match. Nusaybin GençLikSpor's Serdar Ulualp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gleb Sorokin in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Gleb Sorokin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Voskresensk FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rick McEachan made a kick off. Evgeniy Fomichev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Serdar Ulualp made a huge save. 54 minutes into the game, Evgeniy Fomichev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Serdar Ulualp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the match, Rick McEachan notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev. Igor Akinfeev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Voskresensk FC's Serdar Ulualp threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fedor Ivanchuk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Voskresensk FC booed when Nusaybin GençLikSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cahit Settar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Voskresensk FC made a substitution. Timofey Solomakhin replaced Vladimir Safarov. In the 71st match minute, Nusaybin GençLikSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cahit Settar to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Gökalp Rakim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gleb Sorokin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Maksim Ilyuhin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serdar Ulualp was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 86th minute, Gu Xuan Xiong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nusaybin GençLikSpor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Voskresensk FC the free kick. After 88 played minutes Nusaybin GençLikSpor got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Ourente. Timofey Solomakhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serdar Ulualp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evgeniy Fomichev, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Voskresensk FC's Timofey Solomakhin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serdar Ulualp. That made the score 1-5 after 93 minutes of play. Voskresensk FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
