Don Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Cabezon in the 9th minute of play. If Don Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gorri Sañudo to maneuver through the defense. Ardy Pakubuwono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Beerthuis having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Don Cabezon in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Beerthuis saved Winthont FC from getting behind. Dacian Nițescu had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Sander Schaars's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Don Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Dennis Beerthuis made a huge save. Dennis Beerthuis made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Don Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. Pascal Zalm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Zalm came free, but Dacian Nițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascal Zalm hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Beerthuis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Winthont FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Don Cabezon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pascal Zalm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dacian Nițescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Pascal Zalm slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. Pascal Zalm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dacian Nițescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor was substituted for Pascal Zalm. Winthont FC's Marc van Nistelrooij was substituted for Mathijs Grommers. A sloppy throw-in by Igor Fujara in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Gorri Sañudo. Don Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dennis Beerthuis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc van Nistelrooij got free with Dacian Nițescu in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC made a substitution. Dewa Warauw replaced Don Cabezon. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dede Akmal was substituted for Ardy Pakubuwono. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Jajat Mustari was substituted for Frank Rijkaard. Dacian Nițescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Dewa Warauw had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. Winthont FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dewa Warauw was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Geert Arend Roodenburg made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Yağızalp Öznur. In the 95th minute, Dewa Warauw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Beerthuis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Winthont FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Winthont FC.
