Jose Mourinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Demirci, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute KOCAELİSPOR were awarded a corner. Peng Yang Guang went to the cornerflag to take it. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xuaco Oñaederra in the 17th minute of the match. When KOCAELİSPOR's Ömer Demirci in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save KOCAELİSPOR from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the game, Moneyball's Xuaco Oñaederra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Xuaco Oñaederra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Şemsettin Tuyuğ came out and tried to block the shot, but Xuaco Oñaederra slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Moneyball's Xuaco Oñaederra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Moneyball's Jose Mourinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykut Nadi in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 45th minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Mourinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Demirci, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xuaco Oñaederra to strike the kick off in the second half. Ömer Demirci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bergman in the 58th minute of play. Jose Mourinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Demirci, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ömer Demirci might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Mourinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ömer Demirci ran back to his position shaking his head. Jose Mourinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömer Demirci in the 72nd minute. Moneyball's Jakub Šantrůček was substituted for Oliver Bergman. KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit was substituted for Ömer Demirci. The supporters of KOCAELİSPOR booed when Moneyball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthony D'Amico made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Xuaco Oñaederra. After 84 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Rafet Hazin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aşır Zabit in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Mourinho saved Moneyball from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Moneyball's goal looked a bit too open when Aşır Zabit came free, but Jose Mourinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Moneyball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacques Dupont to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Aşır Zabit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Jose Mourinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
