Olev Lill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Moise in the 18th minute. Sportivo Desamparados were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after FC FORZA MARTIRE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Justino Dayam took the corner. The corner led Sportivo Desamparados's Justino Dayam to fire away a dangerous shot which Olev Lill despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Raul Moise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Bunji Jagdeosingh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC FORZA MARTIRE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bunji Jagdeosingh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC FORZA MARTIRE's Elof Melander was substituted for Zoltán Gera. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Moise to make the kick off. Teet Kansi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ferdinand Poenaru made a huge save. Teet Kansi came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ferdinand Poenaru could save by the left post. Pavel Õis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Valentin Samuel put in a rough tackle. 86 minutes into the game, one of Sportivo Desamparados:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dom French did an outstanding performance 89 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-3 to the right of an irritated Ferdinand Poenaru in the goal. Ferdinand Poenaru made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Teet Kansi sent off a good shot on target.
