With an all-out effort, Bastioes EC's Bernardinho Queirós threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adalberto Figueiredo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bernardinho Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Mustafa Haydar Taci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Bernardinho Queirós when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mustafa Haydar Taci took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardinho Queirós. Bernardinho Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Adalberto Figueiredo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardinho Queirós. Adalberto Figueiredo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Bernardinho Queirós successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bernardinho Queirós was a little too slow when Célio Nogueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. Bernardinho Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Célio Nogueira went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Bernardinho Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Fonseca in the 31st minute of play. Mustafa Haydar Taci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Bernardinho Queirós made a huge save. Bernardinho Queirós was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Célio Nogueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Célio Nogueira really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Mustafa Haydar Taci took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Bernardinho Queirós to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute, Bastioes EC's Adalberto Figueiredo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardinho Queirós. Bernardinho Queirós yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Ariando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Haydar Taci in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardinho Queirós saved Inter Miami from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Célio Nogueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bastioes EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Bernardinho Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inter Miami's Bernardinho Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Nogueira in the 78th minute of play.
