Igor Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Aires in the 3rd minute of the match. Rene Aires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Marinho having to make a save. In the 5th minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rene Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Célio Nogueira got free with Okanalp Öksal in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Okanalp Öksal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Figueiredo in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Aires in the 17th minute of play forced Bastioes EC's goalkeeper Igor Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bastioes EC's zone, Rene Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Marinho came out of the goal and Rene Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Loco De Remate's Okanalp Öksal got control of the ball when Adalberto Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Igor Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Rene Aires scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Marinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Medero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Mota hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Adalberto Figueiredo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Okanalp Öksal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the last second Okanalp Öksal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Adalberto Figueiredo in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 45th minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bastioes EC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Adalberto Figueiredo hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adalberto Figueiredo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Bastioes EC got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Bien. In the 60th minute, Eusébio Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Mota hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Rene Aires got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Okanalp Öksal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to Bastioes EC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Eusébio Mota hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bastioes EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Igor Marinho had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Leandro Virila's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Loco De Remate made a substitution. Hıdır Namal replaced Rene Aires. The corner led Loco De Remate's Leandro Virila to fire away a dangerous shot which Igor Marinho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 75th minute of the match, Bruno Medero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Igor Marinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 77th minute Célio Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okanalp Öksal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Fabian Raphael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loco De Remate and the Bastioes EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Loco De Remate's Okanalp Öksal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Nogueira in the 89th minute of play. Bastioes EC's Igor Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Bastioes EC from getting a goal against them. In the 98th match minute, Bastioes EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Mota to maneuver through the defense. The Loco De Remate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Loco De Remate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
