In the 11th minute, Soltani Drid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Qatar Dust Kickers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soltani Drid in the 14th minute of play forced IFK Kik's goalkeeper Fredrik Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Kik's Fredrik Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fergani Dahleb in the 16th minute of play. Fergani Dahleb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Qatar Dust Kickers fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Qatar Dust Kickers's Soltani Drid looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gilles Tahar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bergqvist having to interfere. Abdelhamid Reda Madouni hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Qatar Dust Kickers's Soltani Drid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fredrik Bergqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. IFK Kik's Fredrik Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fergani Dahleb in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, IFK Kik's Nils-Erik Unesson got a free kick in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Soltani Drid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredrik Bergqvist was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. IFK Kik's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tómas Zybtsev in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the game, Qatar Dust Kickers's Gilles Tahar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Bergqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erling Bolin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Qatar Dust Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdellah Kader to maneuver through the defense. Soltani Drid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fredrik Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Fergani Dahleb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils-Erik Unesson during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Nils-Erik Unesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gilles Tahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilles Tahar, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. During the 73rd minute of the match Nils-Erik Unesson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nils-Erik Unesson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 73rd match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Unesson to maneuver through the defense. Qatar Dust Kickers's Gilles Tahar pulled a muscle in his leg after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Qatar Dust Kickers's Juliusz Jul was substituted for Gilles Tahar. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Kik's zone, Abdellah Kader stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Bergqvist came out of the goal and Abdellah Kader tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Erling Bolin fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Kik's protests and gave Erling Bolin a yellow card for diving instead. Soltani Drid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fredrik Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soltani Drid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Mohammed Matoub notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of IFK Kik's Fredrik Bergqvist. Fredrik Bergqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the match, IFK Kik's goalkeeper Fredrik Bergqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fergani Dahleb. When the match was over Qatar Dust Kickers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IFK Kik throughout the match.
