Xorxe Canosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freezerpool FC's Miki Moco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Toli in the 25th minute of play. Racing Matinette's Casper Jans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xorxe Canosa in the 27th minute of play. Miki Moco had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Cristiano Lukaku from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 32 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's goal looked a bit too open when Xorxe Canosa came free, but Casper Jans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miki Moco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Toli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xorxe Canosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Jans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Freezerpool FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Jax in the 46th minute. The corner led Freezerpool FC's Fernando Jax to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Jans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute Freezerpool FC were awarded a corner. Fernando Jax went to the cornerflag to take it. Miki Moco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Lukaku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xorxe Canosa in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Jans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xorxe Canosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Casper Jans made a huge save. Miki Moco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Toli, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Racing Matinette's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matthew Van Cauwenbergh in the 66th minute. Matthew Van Cauwenbergh made a great header on Racing Matinette's corner, it was just that Freezerpool FC's Miki Moco managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 68th minute Alan Creemers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miki Moco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xorxe Canosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Freezerpool FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Freezerpool FC's Xorxe Canosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Freezerpool FC's Robert Lewandowski was substituted for Xorxe Canosa. 81 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's goalkeeper Casper Jans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Hermelando. Racing Matinette's Casper Jans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Matinette from getting a goal against them. Miki Moco came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Matinette's Alan Creemers. But to his dismay, Alan Creemers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Racing Matinette players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
