The Cappadocia FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Cappadocia FC's Hilmi Serafet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's Wasyl Zworski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Egoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolf Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilmi Serafet in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Gonzalo-Martin Gonzalez Del Solar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Bambas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Egoitz having to interfere. If Igor Bambas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Bambas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Egoitz saved Cappadocia FC from getting behind. The supporters of Cappadocia FC booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Asklöv didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cappadocia FC defense, Igor Bambas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Egoitz. The Cappadocia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Egoitz should have stopped the shot. Juan Egoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 39 minutes Cappadocia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tommy Asklöv who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilmi Serafet in the 47th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rolf Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cappadocia FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Strömsbro IF were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilmi Serafet was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Georg Glad hit a great ball. Rolf Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibet Göçmen in the 53rd minute of the match. Strömsbro IF made a substitution. Stig-Arne Bollström replaced Wasyl Zworski. Temel Resat made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tibet Göçmen immediately put the ball in play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cappadocia FC reached it. 97 minutes into the game, Henning Stigsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strömsbro IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cappadocia FC the free kick. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Henning Stigsson hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Strömsbro IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cappadocia FC.
