The referee ignored Jarana FC's protests and gave Baltazar Sala a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jarana FC's Baltazar Sala got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Marquis Kenny was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Baltazar Sala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Jarana FC's zone, Marquis Kenny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Gauargi came out of the goal and Marquis Kenny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tigran Kirakosyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Jarana FC defense, Merlin Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Gauargi. The Jarana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Gauargi should have stopped the shot. Fausto Gauargi came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Khachatryan's Merlin Castro. But to his dismay, Merlin Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fausto Gauargi made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Hu Wei Shu sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Ortzi during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Jarana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Ortzi to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sung McKinley, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jermaine Richmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toti Iglesias, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Fausto Gauargi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merlin Castro in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Baltazar Sala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Merlin Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Gauargi. Jarana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Merlin Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Merlin Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Merlin Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Khachatryan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Fausto Gauargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sung McKinley in the 57th minute of the match. Khachatryan made a substitution. Petros Oganesyan replaced Jon Yost. Khachatryan's Antoine Schaefer was substituted for Zé Augusto Souza. Merlin Castro succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Fausto Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Castro in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Jarana FC defense, Hu Wei Shu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Gauargi. The Jarana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Gauargi should have stopped the shot. Sung McKinley struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Fausto Gauargi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khachatryan. Fausto Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Castro in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Merlin Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Gauargi was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Fausto Gauargi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Merlin Castro's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jarana FC's Fausto Gauargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Castro in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's Toti Iglesias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jermaine Richmond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Khachatryan's Merlin Castro, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Khachatryan. Merlin Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sung McKinley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Gauargi having to interfere. There was no doubt that Khachatryan were the better team. Khachatryan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
