Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rudy Letsch kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, Lucca F.C's Tarcisio Mattos got control of the ball when Vitinho de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinho Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Rudy Letsch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The wind increased when Vitinho de Barros made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Doğaner Doğu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cambotinha EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 89 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Queirós. Douglas Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglas Paulista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cambotinha EC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Douglas Paulista hit a great ball. Claudinho Azevedo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zula Kaider. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Yan Santana got a free kick in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lucca F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cambotinha EC.
