In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s goalkeeper Ciro Del Pizzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eusebio Beltran might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Del Pizzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The corner was taken by Eusebio Beltran in the 23rd minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Christos Kostis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Christos Kostis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Christos Kostis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandros Ismael. Águilas Poblanas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christos Kostis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Águilas Poblanas's Virgilio Txindoki was substituted for Ciro Matai. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Beltran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Christos Kostis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Harry Kane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Ismael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandros Ismael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Kostis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Christos Kostis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 91st match minute, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Tande to maneuver through the defense.
