Emiliano Polito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 20th minute of the match Boca Juniors got a corner. Duri come il marmo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orlando Lluques ran over to the corner to take the kick. 23 minutes into the match, Duri come il marmo's goalkeeper Emiliano Polito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinei Corrêa. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
