The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's Konrad Knopek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ewan Davin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ewan Davin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Knopek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ewan Davin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Knopek in the 13th minute of the match. Ewan Davin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Davi Sanches showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Jérémie Aubertin got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Knopek came free, but Ewan Davin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Chris Falcon. 22 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Ewan Davin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Knopek. With his leg Ewan Davin managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Portus Ganda's Konrad Knopek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jérémie Aubertin's late challenge caught a Portus Ganda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jérémie Aubertin helped the player get up and apologised. Ewan Davin made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Konrad Knopek sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's John Costes got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the game, Amaury Duteil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Scaloneta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portus Ganda the free kick. In the 37th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amaury Duteil to maneuver through the defense. If Davi Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Engrand charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Engrand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Martin Engrand. After 43 played minutes Portus Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Wagner Mamakin.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Knopek in the 51st minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Ewan Davin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ewan Davin came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Portus Ganda's Jüri Djorkaeff. But to his dismay, Jüri Djorkaeff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mike Hoeybroeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ewan Davin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Knopek came free, but Ewan Davin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Konrad Knopek sped through La Scaloneta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ewan Davin. Tony Vanbuyten made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Costes in the 65th minute. Portus Ganda's Ye Yang Ao was substituted for Eliseu Tande. Moussa Queffelec made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Darren Teisseire. In the 68th minute Konrad Knopek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewan Davin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Konrad Knopek put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ewan Davin. La Scaloneta's Ewan Davin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Knopek in the 84th minute of play. Portus Ganda's Tony Vanbuyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Costes in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Madjid Pauly came free, but Tony Vanbuyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Vanbuyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Costes in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Portus Ganda's Joannes Van De Wijngaert got a free kick in the 95th minute. Tony Vanbuyten made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Costes in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Scaloneta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Portus Ganda.
