Machine Gun Kelly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Lartaun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Galácticos del Pueblo's goalkeeper Roch Roman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Erramun. In the 11th minute, Mohamed Bale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galácticos del Pueblo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Emiliano Toribio made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Efrain Ferman however managed to control. Conrado Erramun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Roch Roman made a huge save. Machine Gun Kelly's Conrado Erramun got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roch Roman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Erramun went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Tadeo Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merih Bengi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Conrado Erramun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roch Roman came out and tried to block the shot, but Conrado Erramun slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 32nd minute. Tadeo Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merih Bengi in the 37th minute of the match. Galácticos del Pueblo's Roch Roman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Erramun in the 40th minute of play. Tadeo Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorden De Cerpel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galácticos del Pueblo's Roch Roman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Galácticos del Pueblo from getting a goal against them. Tadeo Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorden De Cerpel in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Merih Bengi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Emiliano Toribio in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Machine Gun Kelly's Marc-Aurèle Bougault. In the 56th minute, Conrado Erramun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Machine Gun Kelly's Aristides Boniel was substituted for Conrado Erramun. Mohamed Bale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Tadeo Udalaitz made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Aristides Boniel made a precise shot to the right of Roch Roman. Galácticos del Pueblo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Aristides Boniel sped through Galácticos del Pueblo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roch Roman. Tadeo Udalaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merih Bengi in the 91st minute. Machine Gun Kelly's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
