After a defensive mix-up in Diamante Negro DK - VV's zone, Salvador Roland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal and Salvador Roland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo Mei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Diamante Negro DK - VV booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selim Urkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Vinícius Servaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diamante Negro DK - VV's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinícius Servaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Mei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
