A beautiful save bye FC Fanaticii's goalie prevented a goal. When Armando Azibar fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plaza Jewell's protests and gave Armando Azibar a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Armando Azibar. Andrei Pavel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Iratxo in the 11th minute of the match. Andrei Pavel came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Plaza Jewell's Aristides Iratxo. But to his dismay, Aristides Iratxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Armando Azibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrei Pavel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Azibar in the 18th minute of the match. Jacobo Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pablo Mei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihai Măliță in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Roland in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Pavel saved FC Fanaticii from getting behind. Nunez Gizon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrei Pavel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Armando Azibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Gică Curcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrei Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Gizon, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Plaza Jewell got a corner. FC Fanaticii's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nunez Gizon ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 34th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Măliță to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Pavel having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nunez Gizon in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Pavel saved FC Fanaticii from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Salvador Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Gizon in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Gică Curcă notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Plaza Jewell's Pablo Mei. Pablo Mei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nunez Gizon made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Plaza Jewell's Lorenzo Mancio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrei Pavel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Nunez Gizon scored 1-4 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrei Pavel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrei Pavel made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Armando Azibar sent off a good shot on target. Nunez Gizon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Andrei Pavel made a huge save. After 68 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Eric Apostu. When Mihai Măliță came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the FC Fanaticii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihai Măliță couldn't finish the play. Plaza Jewell's Freddy Amato was substituted for Nunez Gizon. Aristides Iratxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrei Pavel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Iratxo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to FC Fanaticii getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eric Apostu hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Plaza Jewell's Cristian Chivu in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 82 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's Salvador Roland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrei Pavel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Fanaticii's Eric Apostu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jacobo Barros, made in the 88th minute of the game. Plaza Jewell's Salvador Roland got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee showed Șerban Nanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Fanaticii getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Șerban Nanu hit a great ball. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Fanaticii from getting a goal against them. Salvador Roland came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andrei Pavel could save by the left post. Plaza Jewell's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
