Eldór Hreiðarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eron Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Armilla's goal looked a bit too open when Álfgeir Hannibalsson came free, but Froilan Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valery Grau to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's Guðvin Skúlason sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Froilan Dimas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Lárus Arnleifsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Dimas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Armilla's Luis-Miguel Parra was substituted for Santiago Sidoro.
