An unexpectedly hard shot by Álfgeir Hannibalsson in the 4th minute of play forced Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Mátyás Lisztes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eldór Hreiðarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孙朗夕 in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Álfgeir Hannibalsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Lisztes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Szolnoki MÁV booed when Æsir Ásgarðr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mjölnir Elmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Æsir Ásgarðr's Eldór Hreiðarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孙朗夕 in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match, Guðvin Skúlason got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mátyás Lisztes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 15 minutes into the game, Guðvin Skúlason lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Mátyás Lisztes. When Lajos Keresztesi fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szolnoki MÁV's protests and gave Lajos Keresztesi a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Álfgeir Hannibalsson in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mátyás Lisztes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Kristall Guðjónsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guðvin Skúlasons short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Mátyás Lisztes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guðvin Skúlason got free with Mátyás Lisztes in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eldór Hreiðarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 孙朗夕's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goal looked a bit too open when Álfgeir Hannibalsson came free, but Mátyás Lisztes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Æsir Ásgarðr fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Æsir Ásgarðr's Guðvin Skúlason looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guðvin Skúlason in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mátyás Lisztes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eldór Hreiðarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Varga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Guðvin Skúlason dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mátyás Lisztes, 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Álfgeir Hannibalsson to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Szolnoki MÁV's zone, Helgi Jónsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mátyás Lisztes came out of the goal and Helgi Jónsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Guðvin Skúlason had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mátyás Lisztes. Szolnoki MÁV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guðvin Skúlason was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Mátyás Lisztes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guðvin Skúlason's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Marel Ingimundarson made a great header on Æsir Ásgarðr's corner, it was just that Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes managed to reach the ball for a save. Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristján Ófeigsson in the 64th minute of play. Mátyás Lisztes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guðvin Skúlason, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lajos Keresztesi was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lajos Keresztesi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Guðvin Skúlason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Æsir Ásgarðr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guðvin Skúlason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guðvin Skúlason in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mátyás Lisztes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Guðvin Skúlason left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Æsir Ásgarðr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guðvin Skúlason in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mátyás Lisztes saved Szolnoki MÁV from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Guðvin Skúlason's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mátyás Lisztes was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
