In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fly T.T's goalkeeper Quentin Kendrick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AKI CORINTHIANS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfred Schrijns in the 7th minute. The corner ended in Ciro Brasil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fly T.T's Quentin Kendrick did a great save. Franciszek Kopacz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Orlando Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to AKI CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gonçalo da Silveira hit a great ball. In the 14th minute Vadim Shiryaev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fly T.T were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after AKI CORINTHIANS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Curt Weyermann took the corner. After taking down the ball on Fly T.T's corner Curt Weyermann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Orlando Nogueira quite easily take care of the ball. Fly T.T's Quentin Kendrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Brasil in the 17th minute of play. Orlando Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vadim Shiryaev in the 18th minute of the match. Ciro Brasil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quentin Kendrick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Vadim Shiryaev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Bertrand Glass notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira. Orlando Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albino Ibar came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Quentin Kendrick could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciro Brasil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Quentin Kendrick. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Fly T.T got a corner. AKI CORINTHIANS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Curt Weyermann ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of AKI CORINTHIANS's goalie and right to Vadim Shiryaev. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AKI CORINTHIANS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Franciszek Kopacz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fly T.T's supporters rose to their feet, but Franciszek Kopacz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertrand Glass in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fly T.T's Léandre Newton got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Warner Paimboeuf during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Warner Paimboeuf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Freddy Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ciro Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Fly T.T booed when AKI CORINTHIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeu Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AKI CORINTHIANS's Vânderson Castro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Orlando Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vadim Shiryaev. The supporters of Fly T.T booed when AKI CORINTHIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertrand Glass's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Orlando Nogueira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Fly T.T's Bertrand Glass in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AKI CORINTHIANS's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albino Ibar in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quentin Kendrick saved Fly T.T from getting behind. Léandre Newton tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Quentin Kendrick. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 77th minute. Fly T.T's Lucien Walls was substituted for Franciszek Kopacz. AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertrand Glass in the 80th minute of play. If Lucien Walls had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AKI CORINTHIANS's Alf Bålström got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Vadim Shiryaev came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Fly T.T fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vadim Shiryaev couldn't finish the play. Quentin Kendrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Brasil's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Fly T.T's Warner Paimboeuf got a free kick in the 90th minute.
