Garlic Eaters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ЦСКА the free kick. Joel Afful kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Lewandowski in the 17th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gerushin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Jozef Lewandowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute Jozef Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anzhelo Gerushin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jozef Lewandowski in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Fitz Lambley came free, but Anzhelo Gerushin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anzhelo Gerushin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jozef Lewandowski in the 27th minute of the match. Anzhelo Gerushin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Broom, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Jozef Lewandowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anzhelo Gerushin was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Lewandowski in the 32nd minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gerushin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, ЦСКА was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venko Loginov to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov got control of the ball when Belcho Hlebarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Ivelin Ananiev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nikolay Bonkov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when ЦСКА was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nayden Statkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anzhelo Gerushin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jozef Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Noel Broom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anzhelo Gerushin. ЦСКА's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noel Broom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belcho Hlebarov to make the kick off. With a little luck, ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin got control of the ball when Fitz Lambley tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Noel Broom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anzhelo Gerushin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nayden Statkov kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belcho Hlebarov in the 64th minute of play. A hard shot 66 in the game by Jozef Lewandowski from a close distance when the talented Anzhelo Gerushin managed to make a qualified save. ЦСКА's players were relieved. When Malin Sivchev fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ЦСКА's protests and gave Malin Sivchev a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ЦСКА getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Malin Sivchev hit a great ball. Anzhelo Gerushin was a little too slow when Jozef Lewandowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-3. Anzhelo Gerushin made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Jozef Lewandowski sent off a good shot on target. Anzhelo Gerushin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jozef Lewandowski in the 72nd minute. Anzhelo Gerushin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Broom in the 74th minute of the match. After 93 minutes Garlic Eaters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivelin Ananiev who took care of the corner kick. Ivelin Ananiev made a great header on ЦСКА's corner, it was just that Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Joel Afful got a free kick in the 95th minute. Garlic Eaters played a much better game than ЦСКА and deserved their victory. The ЦСКА players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
