The Karhulan Veikot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Ramos should have stopped the shot. After 17 played minutes STORM got a freekick which was hit by Denis Lavrentev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janne Töpperwien in the 20th minute of play forced STORM's goalkeeper Efim Fedotov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Karhulan Veikot's Cássio Ramos got control of the ball when Denis Lavrentev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efim Fedotov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janne Töpperwien's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Janne Töpperwien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efim Fedotov was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, STORM's goal looked a bit too open when Stamatis Kritikos came free, but Efim Fedotov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Karhulan Veikot got a freekick which was hit by Ukko Murto. Ukko Murto hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Lavrentev made a kick off. Cássio Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Lavrentev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efim Fedotov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janne Töpperwien in the 57th minute. Janne Töpperwien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efim Fedotov having to interfere. Mehmet Fatih Tekinay kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 66th play minutes Denis Lavrentev shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Cássio Ramos and just under the crossbar into goal. Efim Fedotov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Janne Töpperwien showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 72 minute of play. Janne Töpperwiens short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Efim Fedotov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Efim Fedotov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janne Töpperwien in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Ohto Lamminen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Efim Fedotov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Bolshakov in the 85th minute of play forced Karhulan Veikot's goalkeeper Cássio Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute of the match, Stamatis Kritikos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Efim Fedotov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When STORM's Denis Lavrentev in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karhulan Veikot's goalie prevented a goal. Cássio Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Lavrentev's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Cássio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolay Abdulazizov in the 95th minute of play. The STORM supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Karhulan Veikot's performance. The match ended with a win for Karhulan Veikot.
