The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC La Masia's Cesinha do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save FC La Masia from getting a goal against them. Cesinha do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulin Abecia in the 6th minute of play. Oscar Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Xavier in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Octavia's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio da Rocha came free, but Oscar Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaueko Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Oscar Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Alexsandro Correia scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Frascuelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesinha do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulin Abecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Xavier in the 19th minute of play. Oscar Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio da Rocha in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, FC La Masia's goal looked a bit too open when Txema Abadie came free, but Cesinha do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Gaueko Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Tony Quadros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Xavier in the 39th minute of play forced Octavia's goalkeeper Oscar Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Ernesto Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nesor Abadie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Octavia getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nesor Abadie hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Oscar Frascuelo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Perivaldo Valle sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as FC La Masia's Lúcio da Rocha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Frascuelo. That made the score 0-2 after 57 minutes of play. FC La Masia's Cesinha do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txema Abadie in the 61st minute of play. With his leg Oscar Frascuelo managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when FC La Masia's Lúcio da Rocha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 67 minutes, Ernesto Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC La Masia and the Octavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, FC La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. FC La Masia's Jano Carneiro was substituted for Ernesto Pernambucano. The supporters of Octavia booed when FC La Masia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iordanis Anastasiadis during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Octavia getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Iordanis Anastasiadis hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match Murillo Galvão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Frascuelo skillfully saved the ball. When Gaueko Abechuco fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Octavia's protests and gave Gaueko Abechuco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Octavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaueko Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC La Masia getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Murillo Galvão hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Xavier in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Frascuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Cristiano Xavier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Frascuelo. The goal made the score 0-3. FC La Masia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
