The audience thought a goal was coming when Zulkarnaen Mandaga got free with Jailson Teles in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to AVAÍ F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dario Alegría hit a great ball. Jailson Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of AVAÍ F.C. booed when Bandung Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Gajewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdir Martins took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mekki Item. Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Nistor Popilean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jailson Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mekki Item showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Antunes in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 66th minute of play forced AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Jailson Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Zulkarnaen Mandaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Bandung Tigers's Mekki Item got control of the ball when Walmyr Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haji Gille hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 97 minutes of play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Walmyr Salles made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mekki Item was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bandung Tigers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
