Bill Carmichael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Belgrano de Pibasog got a corner. Topsail's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Blue Dolar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Blue Dolar made a great header on Belgrano de Pibasog's corner, it was just that Topsail's Bill Carmichael managed to reach the ball for a save. Bernardo Raggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ren Fan Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill Carmichael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Belgrano de Pibasog were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
