But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano De Bruyne couldn't finish the play. Caetano De Bruyne struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Fredric Ahlén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leão de Judá. After 11 played minutes Leão de Judá got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Bezerra. After a defensive mix-up in Finninge Fotboll's zone, Caetano De Bruyne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Ahlén came out of the goal and Caetano De Bruyne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's Andrew Baller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gadiel Gadov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Cristiano Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Fredric Ahlén. Finninge Fotboll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, Henning Kempf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Finninge Fotboll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leão de Judá the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Finninge Fotboll:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leão de Judá:s goal. Andrew Baller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Gadiel Gadov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gadiel Gadov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Baller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gadiel Gadov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Liljeström in the 41st minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrew Baller was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Isaac Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gadiel Gadov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Sandberg in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gadiel Gadov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fredric Ahlén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano De Bruyne's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 66th minute Caetano De Bruyne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Ahlén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredric Ahlén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano De Bruyne, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Leão de Judá's Gadiel Gadov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Baller in the 69th minute of play. Gadiel Gadov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Stabbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Azevedo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Gadiel Gadov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Stabbe in the 83rd minute of play. Fredric Ahlén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano De Bruyne's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. A hard shot 89 in the game by Caetano De Bruyne from a close distance when the talented Fredric Ahlén managed to make a qualified save. Finninge Fotboll's players were relieved. In the 94th minute Kevin Stabbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gadiel Gadov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Finninge Fotboll's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henning Kempf in the 96th minute. The Leão de Judá supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leão de Judá would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
