Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flávio Reis in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucjan Bielejewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Igor Škarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carroll Hathaway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carroll Hathaway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Škarpa in the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the game, Igor Škarpa landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Concordia Knurów's Tor Helander was substituted for Igor Škarpa. A collision led to Sipo EC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vito Teles hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sipo EC's zone, Marek Roosipuu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carroll Hathaway came out of the goal and Marek Roosipuu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flávio Reis was the one to do the kick off. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
