Aristides Favilas short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Ronaldão Penha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Antapoca FC's Aristides Favila was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Raul Gaizko put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ronaldão Penha. Ronaldão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Higinio Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilma Palma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Raul Gaizko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldão Penha. Vilma Palma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raul Gaizko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ronaldão Penha made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Raul Gaizko sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Favila in the 28th minute of play forced Vilma Palma's goalkeeper Ronaldão Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antapoca FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bonifacio Petri in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Antapoca FC defense, Higinio Gaitan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Llorenc. The Antapoca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Llorenc should have stopped the shot. Raul Gaizko took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldão Penha. Ronaldão Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 42 minutes into the match, Vilma Palma's goalkeeper Ronaldão Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Gaizko. Ronaldão Penha was a little too slow when Raul Gaizko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Gaitan was the one to do the kick off. Ronaldão Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Gaizko in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute Raul Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilma Palma's Ronaldão Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Gaizko in the 56th minute of play. Ronaldão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Gaizko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Gaizko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ronaldão Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Gaizko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldão Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Vilma Palma's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Gaizko came free, but Ronaldão Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Gaizko scored 7-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldão Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Bonifacio Petri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antapoca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 9-1 when Aristides Favila sped through Vilma Palma's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronaldão Penha. 84 minutes into the match, Vilma Palma's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Gaizko came free, but Ronaldão Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Antapoca FC's Raul Gaizko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldão Penha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronaldão Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Petri, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ronaldão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Favila in the 87th minute of play. Ronaldão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Bonifacio Petri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronaldão Penha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 93 minutes, Benedykt Pawelczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilma Palma and the Antapoca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vilma Palma's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
