Perthes United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hercule Basque in the 15th minute of play forced Stal Rzeszów's goalkeeper Izydor Pietrasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Hercule Basque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Pietrasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hercule Basque in the 20th minute of play forced Stal Rzeszów's goalkeeper Izydor Pietrasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izydor Pietrasz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hercule Basque's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Tomasz Frankowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Marie Sanquer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Rafael Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jean-Marie Sanquer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Frankowski in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomasz Frankowski in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Marie Sanquer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Stal Rzeszów's goalkeeper Izydor Pietrasz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hercule Basque. Izydor Pietrasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armand Mondon in the 36th minute. Jean-Marie Sanquer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Frankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Stal Rzeszów's Izydor Pietrasz got control of the ball when Armand Mondon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Marie Sanquer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Frankowski's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Perthes United were furious when Eliott Dauba was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 45 minutes into the match, Stal Rzeszów's Diederik Van den Plas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Marie Sanquer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match Stal Rzeszów got a corner. Perthes United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diederik Van den Plas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 47th match minute, Perthes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Pierrel to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Hercule Basque made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Hercule Basque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Pietrasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Andrzej Lodowy made a precise shot to the right of Jean-Marie Sanquer. Perthes United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Diederik Van den Plas scored 0-4 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Marie Sanquer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafael Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Marie Sanquer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Stal Rzeszów's Rafael Quiroga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jean-Marie Sanquer. That made the score 0-5 after 69 minutes of play. Hercule Basque took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Izydor Pietrasz. Izydor Pietrasz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. When Stal Rzeszów's Tomasz Frankowski in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perthes United's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Perthes United's Hercule Basque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Izydor Pietrasz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jean-Marie Sanquer had great luck who in the 83rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Tomasz Frankowski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Rafael Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Marie Sanquer having to interfere. Stal Rzeszów made a substitution. Marek Bialakowski replaced Tomasz Frankowski. Marek Bialakowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Jean-Marie Sanquer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Izydor Pietrasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Thetiot in the 91st minute of the match. Marek Bialakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jean-Marie Sanquer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stal Rzeszów played a much better game than Perthes United and deserved their victory. The Perthes United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
