Bancruz F.C's Ciro Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Gudmundsson in the 13th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Turgay Hafi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yorrick Zoethout, 1-0. After 28 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Caiola. Henk Veerman might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Nerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henk Veerman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciro Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Veerman in the 33rd minute of the match. Ciro Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Veerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 36 played minutes Bancruz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Arixo. Ciro Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Veerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turgay Hafi to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Stenberg to maneuver through the defense. When Clodoveo Matro came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Bancruz F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Matro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgay Hafi in the 59th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Nerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henk Veerman in the 60th minute. Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgay Hafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Melker Gudmundsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ciro Nerio, 1-1. Çelikan Koçaş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yorrick Zoethout having to make a save.
