The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Chano during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Santa Lucia de Merlo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arnaldo Chano hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Kylan Mbappè could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Florentino Herauso made a huge save. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Columbo Seracoyz in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidensio Pestaña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florentino Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kylan Mbappè, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Kylan Mbappè notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso. Florentino Herauso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
