Oséas Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Kornaszewski in the 11th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Czarni 44 Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Ziomkowski. Silvinho Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Iwan Ziomkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Pinheiro in the 23rd minute of play forced Czarni 44 Szczecin's goalkeeper Zenon Cipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Wlodzimierz Bury cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Oséas Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Czarni 44 Szczecin's Zenon Cipinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Czarni 44 Szczecin from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wlodzimierz Bury in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oséas Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iwan Ziomkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséas Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Kornaszewski in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Iwan Ziomkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czarni 44 Szczecin's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwan Ziomkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséas Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Ballack kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Arkadiusz Czerniak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wlodzimierz Bury made a kick off. Czarni 44 Szczecin's Radomil Bielatowicz suffered a sore thigh after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dadá Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dadá Eger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AMÉRICA F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dadá Eger hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, AMÉRICA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Iwan Ziomkowski came free, but Oséas Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match Czarni 44 Szczecin got a corner. AMÉRICA F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arkadiusz Czerniak ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Moisés Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot. AMÉRICA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Camargo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Cipinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Czarni 44 Szczecin's Wlodzimierz Bury in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wlodzimierz Bury in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oséas Trancoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wlodzimierz Burys short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Oséas Trancoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 73 minutes into the match, Melchor Beremundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oséas Trancoso. AMÉRICA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Beremundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 76 minutes into the match, Czarni 44 Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Pinheiro came free, but Zenon Cipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zenon Cipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Berger couldn't finish the play. The Czarni 44 Szczecin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Czarni 44 Szczecin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
