With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Lessard in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Ascencio saved El Pulpo Paceño from getting behind. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svetoslav Genkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Ascencio made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when André Luís Lessard sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, DREAM TEAM WORLD's André Luís Lessard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 34thth minute of the game André Luís Lessard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Nicanor Ascencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Luís Lessard. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Nicanor Ascencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the El Pulpo Paceño defense, André Luís Lessard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicanor Ascencio. The El Pulpo Paceño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicanor Ascencio should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

El Pulpo Paceño made a substitution. Berriotxoa Abadie replaced Maicon Borges. El Pulpo Paceño's Christobal Abecia was substituted for Idacio Abecia. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph Lockwood was the one to do the kick off. Nicanor Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Lessard, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Nicanor Ascencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrzej Zapolski went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
