EDI MZB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. The wind increased when Hortêncio Mandrak made the kick off in the second half. Copetonas AFC's Lucio Fagildo was substituted for Fabio Gimenez. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Copetonas AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while EDI MZB had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
