Marco Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Vuelva in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Viana got free with Txilar Redin in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Txilar Redin came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Academy's Eurico Viana. But to his dismay, Eurico Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marco Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cefero Lluch, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Eurico Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but I.A.S.A's Txilar Redin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Green Academy's Marco Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cefero Lluch in the 19th minute of play. Txilar Redin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Edvaldo Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Green Academy's Marco Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joey Tribbiani in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Edson Vuelva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton de Andrade in the 27th minute of play forced I.A.S.A's goalkeeper Txilar Redin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes, Joey Tribbiani made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Green Academy's Marco Pimenta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandre Falcão was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Green Academy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 44th minute, Chepe Gerica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joey Tribbiani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thomás Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. I.A.S.A's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
