The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo de Almeida hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Alex Pontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torgny Landin in the 3rd minute. Club do Inrrá's Alex Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 肖真坚 in the 6th minute of play. Club do Inrrá's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Torgny Landin scored to the left of an out of position Alex Pontes, making the score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Club do Inrrá's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Alex Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Cícero Barral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Andersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Club do Inrrá's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when 肖真坚 scored to the left of an out of position Alex Pontes, making the score, 3-1. 28 minutes into the match, Club do Inrrá's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Alex Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Börna Bulldogs got a corner. Club do Inrrá's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pawel Grabowicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Börna Bulldogs's Andreas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 蔡银峰 in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Torgny Landin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Pontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Börna Bulldogs made a substitution. Vilgot Bålström replaced Ragnar Linquist. A well-hit corner resulted in Kent Sandström heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Kent Sandström charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kent Sandström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Börna Bulldogs got a freekick which was hit by Kent Sandström. Torgny Landin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Pontes having to make a save. Alex Pontes made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Torgny Landin sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torgny Landin to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Club do Inrrá's goal looked a bit too open when 肖真坚 came free, but Alex Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börna Bulldogs were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Club do Inrrá's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pawel Grabowicz took the corner. After taking down the ball on Börna Bulldogs's corner 肖真坚 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alex Pontes quite easily take care of the ball. Börna Bulldogs's Lars Vallengren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Urban Nyberg in the 54 minute of the game. In the 55th minute, 肖真坚 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Börna Bulldogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Club do Inrrá's Alex Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Landin in the 59th minute of play. Club do Inrrá's Bæringur Gylfason was substituted for Urban Nyberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bæringur Gylfason in the 66th minute of play forced Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper Andreas Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 肖真坚 in the 72nd minute of play. Alex Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Vallengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alex Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Leo Jonasson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Börna Bulldogs's Basilio Nafarroa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Leo Jonasson made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Börna Bulldogs's Lars Vallengren.
