MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Steenbeck in the 17th minute of play. Bruno Steenbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hudson de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Steenbeck in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match MZetowe Mastodonty got a corner. Randers A.F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fahl Figueroa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to MZetowe Mastodonty getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ciro Porto hit a great ball. Hudson de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Steenbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Randers A.F.C.'s Bruno Steenbeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hudson de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to MZetowe Mastodonty getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Iwo Werra hit a great ball. Hudson de Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Steenbeck's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Bruno Steenbeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Randers A.F.C.'s Nichlas Vesterdahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Randers A.F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Damián Angulo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nichlas Vesterdahl, passed just outside the right post. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Gdowski in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Randers A.F.C. booed when MZetowe Mastodonty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elías Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Randers A.F.C. were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Czeslaw Gdowski made a kick off. Zebastian Carlsson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Wiltshire got free with Hudson de Carvalho in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save MZetowe Mastodonty from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Randers A.F.C.'s Bruno Steenbeck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hudson de Carvalho. Hudson de Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MZetowe Mastodonty's goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, MZetowe Mastodonty's goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Steenbeck. MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save MZetowe Mastodonty from getting a goal against them. Bruno Steenbeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Hudson de Carvalho made a huge save. If Damián Angulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Roch Haszczak came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the MZetowe Mastodonty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Haszczak couldn't finish the play. Randers A.F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
