Färid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Gdowski in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Czeslaw Gdowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Färid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute of the game Slawomir Tyskie made a throw-in which Wieslaw Trzenzalski played forward. Armada's Färid Mondragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Gdowski in the 20th minute of play. Hudson de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by İshak Çakıroğlu in the 21st minute. Róbert Benkó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Färid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Gdowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of MZetowe Mastodonty booed when Armada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. İshak Çakıroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slawomir Tyskie got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Czeslaw Gdowski. In the 45th minute, İshak Çakıroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Róbert Benkó to make the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armada reached it. In the 61st minute Czeslaw Gdowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Färid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Róbert Benkó managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbert Benkó was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Färid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damián Angulo in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, MZetowe Mastodonty's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Benkó came free, but Hudson de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Czeslaw Gdowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Färid Mondragón having to interfere. Armada made a substitution. Ştefan Grama replaced Ionică Hrandabur. Róbert Benkó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Róbert Benkó got free in front of the goal in the 90th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Hudson de Carvalho was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
