The supporters of Cabildo FC booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qian Zhen Sheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eufemio Andrade took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfred Fribäck. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolás Castillo in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Eufemio Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Fribäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Stor kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Patricio Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Ljusberg in the 19th minute. After 27 played minutes, Cabildo FC's Aaron Erazo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manfred Fribäck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cabildo FC reached it. Manfred Fribäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eufemio Andrade in the 28th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Remicio Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Castillo in the 48th minute of the match.

Patricio Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert Hermansson went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rufino Rengifo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Rufino Rengifo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Cabildo FC defense, Gilbert Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patricio Toledo. The Cabildo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Toledo should have stopped the shot. Norrlands Athen's Filcho Slivkov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patricio Toledo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
