Lorenzo Garin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo Mineiro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Encuțu in the 10th minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper João Adolfo Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Garin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Adolfo Mineiro. Rockets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Garin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 18 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Ferraz. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Elder Rocha got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rockets's João Adolfo Mineiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Rockets from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute of the match Ghostbusters CF got a corner. Rockets's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pompiliu Crainic ran over to the corner to take the kick. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, João Adolfo Mineiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Reynaldo Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but João Adolfo Mineiro made a huge save. Ghostbusters CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pompiliu Crainic in the 33rd minute. Pompiliu Crainic made a great header on Ghostbusters CF's corner, it was just that Rockets's João Adolfo Mineiro managed to reach the ball for a save. 35 minutes into the match, Rockets's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Garin came free, but João Adolfo Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Adolfo Mineiro came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ghostbusters CF's Lorenzo Garin. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Garin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. João Adolfo Mineiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radu Trică in the 45th minute. After 48 minutes of play, Ghostbusters CF's Stelian Encuțu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Adolfo Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Garin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Lorenzo Garin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ghostbusters CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 60th minute, Radu Trică ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Adolfo Mineiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. João Adolfo Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Cazimir Jitaru took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Adolfo Mineiro. João Adolfo Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After a defensive mix-up in Rockets's zone, Stelian Encuțu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Adolfo Mineiro came out of the goal and Stelian Encuțu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Garin took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Adolfo Mineiro. João Adolfo Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Reynaldo Pinto put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of João Adolfo Mineiro. 74 minutes into the match, Cazimir Jitaru notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Rockets's João Adolfo Mineiro. João Adolfo Mineiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 77 minutes, Pompiliu Crainic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghostbusters CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Crainic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Garin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Adolfo Mineiro. Rockets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Garin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. In the 88th minute, Radu Trică ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Adolfo Mineiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. 91 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Garin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-0. João Adolfo Mineiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Rockets defense, Lorenzo Garin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Adolfo Mineiro. The Rockets fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Adolfo Mineiro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Trică in the 98th minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper João Adolfo Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ghostbusters CF fully deserved thier win.
