Horia Chioreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Zygmunt Koprowski made a huge save. Zygmunt Koprowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Chioreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes of play, BVB 09's Aurelian Jucan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Peralta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 15 played minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt got a freekick which was hit by Kelly Nicholas. Zygmunt Koprowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Panduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goalkeeper Zygmunt Koprowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basarab Panduru. 31 minutes into the match, Iacob Vernescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Peralta. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iacob Vernescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Zygmunt Koprowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basarab Panduru in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Jucan. BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save BVB 09 from getting a goal against them. Nuno Peralta came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB 09's Marin Manea. But to his dismay, Marin Manea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iacob Vernescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horia Chioreanu in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zygmunt Koprowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Horia Chioreanu sped through BVB 09's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zygmunt Koprowski. 53 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Chioreanu came free, but Zygmunt Koprowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56thth minute of the game Horia Chioreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Călin Boieraș was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zygmunt Koprowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 62ndth minute of the game Horia Chioreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horia Chioreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Valer Perișoară was substituted for Eric Gorcea. BVB 09 made a substitution. Francisc Bîndean replaced Marin Manea. BVB 09 were furious when Codrin Ieremia was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in BVB 09 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Costin Malcoci sped through BVB 09's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zygmunt Koprowski. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt made a substitution. Adrian Nasta replaced Basarab Panduru. If Francisc Bîndean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costin Malcoci in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zygmunt Koprowski saved BVB 09 from getting behind. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Nuno Peralta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Costin Malcoci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Nasta in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zygmunt Koprowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Nasta in the 96th minute of play. Zygmunt Koprowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Nasta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
