The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl Björk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s Anthimos Tsoulkas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl Björk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Milanis E.C.'s Emerson Ferraz got control of the ball when Boris Alkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match BraveHearts United got a corner. Milanis E.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Östen Sellberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 16th minute, Anthimos Tsoulkas made a precise shot to the right of Karl Björk. BraveHearts United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 19th match minute, BraveHearts United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Alkvist to maneuver through the defense. Karl Björk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruninho Brito's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes BraveHearts United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anthimos Tsoulkas who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Toninho de Moraes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 30th minute, Anthimos Tsoulkas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milanis E.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Anthimos Tsoulkas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Björk having to make a save. Karl Björk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthimos Tsoulkas in the 33rd minute of the match. Karl Björk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Paşa Mau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Milanis E.C. booed when BraveHearts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Sandwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Toninho de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Milanis E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho de Moraes couldn't finish the play. Anthimos Tsoulkas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Björk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, BraveHearts United's goal looked a bit too open when Anthimos Tsoulkas came free, but Karl Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
