After 5 played minutes SAO JOANENSE FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Netto. The nice shot from Torbjörn Grep in the 8thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Amadeu Lamego had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Ninjas FK's Rickard Algren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Netto in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Luisinho Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rickard Algren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rickard Algren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Rickard Algren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rickard Algren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Meirelles in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute Horácio Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Algren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ninjas FK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Claes Landin hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Luisinho Netto made a precise shot to the right of Rickard Algren. Ninjas FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Rickard Algren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horácio Alcântara went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Amadeu Lamego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torbjörn Grep in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Luisinho Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rickard Algren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The supporters of SAO JOANENSE FC booed when Ninjas FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingemar Kaxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Luisinho Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rickard Algren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7.

The supporters of Ninjas FK booed when SAO JOANENSE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carlos Esteves fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAO JOANENSE FC's protests and gave Carlos Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SAO JOANENSE FC! SAO JOANENSE FC:s Amadeu Lamego showed great skill when he stopped Benjamin Kruse:s penalty. Torbjörn Grep sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SAO JOANENSE FC played a much better game than Ninjas FK and deserved their victory. The Ninjas FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
