Anton Björnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Schonath in the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Quentin Francis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lima Team's Francisco Infante. Francisco Infante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Quentin Francis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Infante. Lima Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quentin Francis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lima Team's Francisco Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Francis in the 22nd minute of play. Francisco Infante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quentin Francis's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Naboonga Wild Katt FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ovidio Hitzeder in the 30th minute. The corner led Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Ovidio Hitzeder to fire away a dangerous shot which Francisco Infante despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herberto Caiado came free, but Anton Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Lima Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Leiria to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes Naboonga Wild Katt FC got a freekick which was hit by Shao Sang Yu. Lima Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Quentin Francis scored to the left of an out of position Francisco Infante, making the score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Herberto Caiado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Anton Björnberg made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Lima Team's Salvador Leiria got a free kick in the 64th minute. The supporters of Lima Team booed when Naboonga Wild Katt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Díaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Silban struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Francisco Infante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naboonga Wild Katt FC. The supporters of Naboonga Wild Katt FC booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Schonath didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Manuel Silban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lima Team's Francisco Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Silban in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lima Team defense, Manuel Silban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Infante. The Lima Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Infante should have stopped the shot. Francisco Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Silban, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Naboonga Wild Katt FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
