Eser Şemsi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Henric Villaquiran scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eser Şemsi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of All Stars Gent booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Valcarcel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jullian Jongbloedt in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Baltazar Zaplana hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiaan Elsen. Eser Şemsi came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran. But to his dismay, Henric Villaquiran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gaskon Gimeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eser Şemsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaskon Gimeno in the 39th minute of the match. Joop Mesmaeckers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Naldo Roig having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Picanya FC's Ramón Valcarcel got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henric Villaquiran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerom Van Landschoot hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Naldo Roig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joop Mesmaeckers's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Picanya FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
