In the 6th minute Henric Villaquiran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Monte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Monte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaskon Gimeno in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Berazategui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gartxot to maneuver through the defense. When Gaskon Gimeno came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Picanya FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaskon Gimeno couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Romildo came free, but Naldo Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match Berazategui got a corner. Picanya FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberto Gartxot ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alberto Gartxot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Picanya FC's Naldo Roig did a great save. Henric Villaquiran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Monte having to interfere. The supporters of Berazategui booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaskon Gimeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Monte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaskon Gimeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Berazategui's Filomeno Adrio got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Monte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Villaquiran in the 33rd minute of play. Gaskon Gimeno took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Monte. Isaac Monte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 38th minute, Filomeno Adrio had to leave the field with a concussion. Gregory Bermejo's late challenge caught a Berazategui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregory Bermejo helped the player get up and apologised. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Marcones in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Romildo was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Berazategui's zone, Gaskon Gimeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Monte came out of the goal and Gaskon Gimeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isaac Monte. That made the score 0-2 after 61 minutes of play. 64 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Marcones came free, but Naldo Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berazategui's Isaac Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Bermejo in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Julio Marcones had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naldo Roig. Picanya FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Marcones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Henric Villaquiran reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isaac Monte. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 77th minute, Henric Villaquiran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Picanya FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Isaac Monte made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Gaskon Gimeno sent off a good shot on target. Isaac Monte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaskon Gimeno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 85 minute of play. In the 94th minute, Gaskon Gimeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
