The audience was convinced that Jorge Reijnders's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egídio Quirino was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Egídio Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Reijnders in the 25th minute of play. Despite this Egídio Quirino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A.A.100Qualidade's Egídio Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Leenders in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baltasar Ferran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Lode Rouvroys kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Egídio Quirino. That made the score 0-2 in the 51 minute of play. A.A.100Qualidade's Egídio Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save A.A.100Qualidade from getting a goal against them. Jorge Reijnders did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Egídio Quirino 57 minutes into the match. Lode Rouvroys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Egídio Quirino made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Lúcio Magalhães notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Kickers United's Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A.A.100Qualidade's Hélio Souza was substituted for Baltasar Ferran. Thanks to some nice moves Artur Leenders could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Egídio Quirino however easily saved by the left post. 79 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Guerra came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Denis Cromefeldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kickers United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A.100Qualidade the free kick. After 90 played minutes A.A.100Qualidade got a freekick which was hit by Alketas Kalfakis. In the 93rd minute, Lode Rouvroys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egídio Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Kickers United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
